[StartupN] FestivalOn, Vietnamese company KCTech signs MOU for entry into Vietnam

On October 22, Festival On CEO Kim Jae-han announced that he had signed a business agreement with Vietnamese company KCTech CEO TRAN THANH TRUNG, who had met at KINTEX in Ilsan through the 2024 Export Boom Up Korea Week hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and KOTRA, for the advancement of the ‘Safe Care Package For SA Solution’ into the Hanoi, Vietnam region, on the SA Solution POC using the local ‘Wi-Fi Sensing Module’, sales, installation, and export.

As the first step of this agreement, Festival On decided to produce and deliver videos and guidance materials in Vietnamese, and KCTech decided to check customer responses based on these and identify potential customers. In addition, various discussions were held on reflecting local needs in Vietnam and applying Vietnamese to the platform in use through additional meetings in the future.

KCTech CEO TRAN THANH TRUNG said that FestivalOn’s method of collecting spatial information without invading privacy is very interesting and he is looking forward to introducing this technology to Vietnam.

FestivalOn Co., Ltd. is continuously developing spatial information collection and analysis AI technology and is developing and launching a product line of its own area safety management brand, ‘SA (Safety Area) Solution’. The ‘Safe Care Package For SA Solution’, which is the center of this agreement, consists of a disaster safety-specific version H/W and package of FestivalOn’s ‘Wi-Fi Sensing Module’ scheduled to be launched in December. It is a package that enables real-time monitoring and notification of abnormal situations in spaces that require strong privacy protection, such as single-person households, restrooms, and changing rooms.

KCTech is a company established in Vietnam in 2018. With the motto of ‘connecting digital knowledge’, it provides various IT solutions to help companies and Vietnamese government agencies solve all management issues through strictly standardized functions and processes.

FestivalOn CEO Kim Jae-han said that he believes that through this business agreement with KCTech, he was able to see the possibility of advancing into Southeast Asia, and that he expects to increase sales and make full-fledged overseas advancements through the development of various export markets in the future.
